People are constantly amazing me. Every new story that I start evolves into something that I care about so much regardless of who or what it is--the subject becomes a part of my life no matter how old they are, what they're going through, or what background they come from. The simple fact that people are so open to sharing their story so intimately with not only me but with whatever unknown audience comes with the permanence of a photograph is incredibly humbling. I just hope that I can show the true nature of whoever is in front of my camera in a way that makes people ask questions or just want to know more. I've never gotten more support nor more table conversations from a story than I have for the current one I'm working on, and I hope I can deliver in an honest way.
